You can tell by the floppy top hat that this rescue comes with some strings attached. I think the elephant is going to try to sell them a car.

The elephant's expression is great. Perhaps the Baby Bun is going in the tree and the elephant knows Papa Buns will agree to the terms to get him down again.
Who will come to the rescue? Perhaps it's a sheleighly Papa Bun has in his hand and he's not afraid to use it. An armed Irish Bun Papa.
Ha ha! The elephant definitely has ulterior motives - that's for sure!
